The final assignment of Guido Cesana's third year Digital Animation class. The theme for the assignment was "the stairs" (in a metaphorical sense). 

My animation, Jump Rope, follows a girl that's plagued by a lack of rhythm and timing. She's unable to take part in group activities like music lessons or ballet and she regularly embarrasses herself at school. This changes when, one day on the playground, she is determined to jump rope with the other kids. She tries and tries, gradually beating herself up in the process to the point that she can't see. It's then that she learns rhythm and timing through listening.
