This assessment is called Re/Make where I had to make a response to the theme Sustainability. By making a response I had to make a minimum of projects that shows a response to the theme Sustainability. I chose Mottainai a Japanese reference that is talking about Reusing, recycling and avoiding waste as it plays a part to Sustainability.

Throughout Mottainai it led me to Kintsugi a Japanese art technique to repair broken items. The following of Kintsugi led me to the lives of Salaryman and its office work environment and how they are throwing their lives away and slaving it away for work and loyalty to the companies that don't even care about them.

They also face overwork death called Karoshi but that is something that needs to be repaired such as making a Kintsugi especially on the work life in Japan. It needs to be repaired immediately or the Nation will face huge problems because of it which it already is such as low birthrates and more overwork death will happen even suicides.

These are my artworks making a response for this project. They are called Karoshi Kintsugi. These are also Photos of me dressing up as imitating as a Salary man.
