I use photography as a creative medium to transport the viewer to a place of curiosity. I play on the cusp of representation and abstraction. The ocean features prominently as my subject, as I am intrigued by its immense beauty and terrifying nature. My work calls forward familiarity and peace in addition to fear and curiosity—all intense emotions that each individual faces when confronted with something so awe-inspiring.
