This book was born from the idea of dedicating the space they deserve to the protagonists of Hayao Miyazaki's films. From the introduction to animation development in Japan, the reader will be able to understand the importance of the animation company "Studio Ghibli". Through the hand and ideas of the animator Hayao Miyazaki, determined, courageous and passionate female figures take shape who carve out their place in the world, whatever the scenario that is presented to them. In addition to the two books, the final product will consist of seven posters, one of which is larger and six smaller each depicting a heroine and inspired by shikishi 色紙: traditional paper supports of variable thickness, used in Japan for calligraphy and poems or for paintings that were usually attached to the top of screens and sliding doors.
