U.S. Currency Redesign

Tackling this project from a problem/solution approach, I aimed to solve some problems covered up by habituation. We often view the US currency as a green piece of paper. That's the problem. There's often a worry of handing over the wrong bill. I solved this problem by describing each amount as a different color scheme as to be able to quickly identify which bill is being handled by a glance. This solution of having multicolored bills also helps those who are color blind.

another issue I found with U.S. currency is for blind people, there are inconsistencies with handling money. I learned when researching, that blind folks will often fold their bills in various ways specific to them as to be able to identify which amount is being handled. I ask the question "What if currency had braille"? This problem can solve in consistencies with how disabled people can have a consistent conversation with currency.

The idea behind this was why can't our money be accessible to all?
