The objective for this project was to design an urgent care facility in a foreign city. The concept was to use the symbol of health that dates back to the Greek Gods, in which the Rod of Asclepius (God of Medicine) depicts the myth of the non-venomous snake used in healing rituals, symbolizing renewal and rejuvenation. With using the curved shape of the snake this will be used in the wayfinding. The location of the urgent care facility being in Athens, inspires the red, gold and blue color scheme that is found throughout the city in the landscape.
