OVERVIEW
The goal on this project was to redesign the Dollar bill set and propose a solution that would represent better the people and events that make the US the country that is today, as well as to improve the usability and introduce features that are currently not implemented in the US Dollar Bill.

The current Dollar bill series display the presidents taht lead the US. The first American Currency dates from 1690 and resembles a formal certificate, when the colonial notes were implemented. Since them, a lot of changes have been made - the more recently, in 2013 with the redesign of the $100 note in order to improve its security. Despite the several changes in the last decade, the currency has always displayed the Presidents of the US, and maintained really low tints that make them hard to identity. In addition to that, visually impaired citizens need additional technology or support to identity the different bills, since the current system do not implement an identification on its design.

COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS & USER INTERVIEWS

On this phase, a competitive analysis tested the current features of the US Dollar with some of the safest, best designed and influential world currencies. The dollar features were divided on "look, feel and tilt", as displayed in the official website uscurrency.gov.

The outcome of the Analysis and the surveys to citizens highlighted the need to straighten the usability of the bill, specially targeted to visual impaired citizens. It also showcased possible improvements regarding symbology, sense of identity, security and clarity.
