The goal of this project is to create a handbook about “Printing Process”, including all information about printer’s and paper’s type, and to explain each category with an attached sample.

Many ideas clicking; however, the most inspired was crafting a simple basic office printer shape; as a hard leaf cover. Regarding the colors, using CMYK as a frame for the layout design which refer to the four inks

used in some color printing. For samples, using the “pencil tool” images as a background for more clarity.

Sketches was the first process; designing the cover and the entire layout pages; crafting the black mount board for both front and back cover. For details and title, a colored construction paper was more convenient to use. By Illustrator, using the “Pencil tool” for the frame layout, and coding it with the CMYK colors. Using “old printing press” type face for the headings, and “Helvetica” type face for the rest information. Finally, placed the file on the InDesign and then exported ­­­as a PDF file for printing. The paper selected is glossy cardstock paper for a brightness display.

This project improved my skills using illustrator and InDesign, now I was familiar and I know a new tool in each programs and how to use them well. This project also gave me the opportunity to find out how much I'm very good on crafting. really enjoyed this project، the only difficulty that I faced is searching for samples.
