THE ASK
Part of Yepic’s offering is a dynamic ad creator. The key feature of this platform is the ability to set up large campaigns to deliver personalised outputs at scale. The user needs the ability to easily set up their campaign and specify their requirements such as demographics and channels. Hence an onboarding journey was required.
THE SOLUTION
I created a simple and easy-to-use onboarding journey allow the user to set all their prerequisites. I lead the UX and UI, mapping out the features and creating all major deliverables, using custom assets from the brand.
The journey is as clear as possible and with as few steps to ensuring little or no drop off during the set up process.

Create the dynamic ad creator, ensuring functionality and usability that is on parity with competitors’ features.
The key feature of this platform is the ability to set up large ad campaigns that deliver personalised outputs at scale. The user needs the ability to easily set up their campaign and specify their requirements such as demographics and channels. Hence an onboarding journey was also required to walk a user through how to use the platform.
THE SOLUTION
We opted for a lean approach which utilised a brief discovery and research phase. We developed only two personas and keep the scenarios high-level due to overall timescales and limited users and then adopted rapid sketching and went straight into prototyping and design mockups.
After a working session to map out the required and desired features, I was able to conceptualise and structure all the proposed functionality & content. I lead the UX and UI work, producing all major deliverables.

*The prototype is currently being scoped and built and user testing was expected to commence early 2020.
The original requirements and features were mapped out based on the user stories which included a preview panel to allow users to see what their final ad would look like in a multitude of pre-loaded dimensions.
Working with the development team, we were able to move the preview panel to be an additional feature rather than being included on the main wireframe in order to maintain optimum performance and functionality for the user.
