Nonostante la società ci abbia dato dei canoni e restrizioni, dominano su tutto ancora l'istinto e desideri primitivi che spesso si aggiudicano la libertà di sopraffarre la razionalità. La libertà è nella nostra vera natura priva di restrizioni; la corsa, tratto comune di tutti i mammiferi la rappresenta.
